Sleep Apnea Appliances/Snoring Appliances
Chronic obstructive sleep apnea is a problem that many individuals suffer from, and many do not even realize it. If you have been diagnosed with sleep apnea, or you are a chronic snorer, perhaps a night-time appliance is the right answer for you.
In the case of mild to moderate sleep apnea (and for snoring), an oral appliance can be used to resolve instances of apnea (stoppages of breathing). This appliance works by gently repositioning the lower jaw into a more forward position, thus opening an individual's airway. In many cases, this appliance can replace or be used in lieu of a C-PAP device.
Our doctors would be happy to speak with your doctor or specialist to determine whether this appliance is right for you.
